Exclusion tasks: This type of task is especially about testing the receptive vocabulary. This allows to assign a meaning from memory to the arabic that has been heard or read – or, for example, to open up it with the help of word formation rules.

A regular nominal sentence consists of أَلْمُبْتَدَأ (subject; beginning) and أَلْخَبَر (predicate; news) and refers to the present tense. There are two basic types of nominal sentences.
PRONOUNS & RELATIVE PRONOUNS
The first component of the relative pronoun ist the article
ist the article الْـ, therefore the Hamza of أَلَّتِي، أَلَّذِي etc. is a Hamzat waṣl: ﭐلَّتِي، ﭐلَّذِي In colloquial Arabic the relative pronoun is also used with indefinite nouns and is always اِللي. regardless of the noun’s gender or number.

Most Arabic verbs are ثُلَاثِيٌّ (triliteral) such as كَتَبَ »to write«; but some are also رُبَاعِيٌّ (quadriliteral) such as تَرْجَمَ »to translate«..
GENITIVE CONNECTIONS & NUMBERS
The Genitive Compound
A noun cannot only be modified by an adjective, but also by a following noun in the genitive. The two nouns form a compound phrase called أَلْإِضَافَةُ (genitive construction) with أَلْمُضَافُ (annexed or 1st part of the construction) and أَلْمُضَافُ إِلَيْهِ (attribute or 2nd part of the construction).
