3. Derived forms – characteristics

٣) الْفِعْلُ الْمَزِيدُ وَخَصَائِصُهُ

Starting with the base form of the verb (Form I), it is possible to ascertain a specific meaning and function of the derived forms. However, there is no general paradigm for every derived form of a particular verb. Nevertheless, knowledge of the general meaning of the derived verbs will assist in finding the specific meaning of the verb without using a dictionary.
